Another great episode with some awesome ideas of bringing together my talents. All I have to offer is a MS Access database that I created to help me track submissions to agents and publishers. If you think people might be interested in something like that, I'd be happy to provide a copy.

Two books on writing worth a mention. You referred to Joseph Campbell's book, but it sounded like you were trying to remember Vogler's "The Writer's Journey" which takes Campbell's archetypal concepts of the hero's journey and applies them directly to writing.

The other is Anne Lamott's "Bird by Bird". My favorite chapter is titled "Shitty First Drafts".

Keep up the awesome work, guys!

James, you're right. Instead of listing all the books we talked about in the notes for the episode, I added them to the Book Store link. I should have made a note of that. Let me do that now...

I started listening to this podcast, and the first thought to enter my mind was, "is PG drunk?" But then I realized that he always sounds like that. Har!

Excellent Epidode. Also on my shelf is Make a Scene by Rosenfeld, lots of food for thought in that one.

Hey guys!

I was just listening and I thought I'd mention another exellent book on writing and that's Robert Mckee's book "Story". Although it says it's a book on screen-writing, I've found a good amount of very helpful information on subjects that can be applied to any form of writing.

And Justin, thank you for the kind words for my poor cat. :)

Keep up the good work guys!
