On April 27th, Terry Gross of NPR’s “Fresh Air” had a conversation with Ken Auletta about his recent article in The New Yorker titled “Publish Or Perish.” The article focused on eBooks, the iPad, and how those things are changing publishing. I really enjoyed their talk, and I thought some of you might enjoy it as well.
This week the Dead Robots sit down and talk with returning champion David Williams, whose new novel, “The Machinery Of Light,” is coming out soon. It is the final story in the “Autumn Rain” trilogy, and we’re delighted to have him back on the show. Enjoy.

Hey, everyone, it’s your kind and benevolent host, Justin. Today I was interviewed on the Page Readers podcast because of my involvement in the upcoming Dragon Moon Press anthology entitled “Podthology – The Pod Complex.” My short story “Pirates of the Crimson Sands” is one of the many fine stories included in the anthology, and being able to go on another pocast to talk about it was fun. I’m just one of several people included in this episode. I hope you enjoy it!

I have a short piece of podcast fiction up on Different Worlds. This anthology was to be inspired by Asia songs. My was inspired by Sole Survivor. The word count limitations were pretty strict (2K words max), so I didn’t get to include everything I wanted to and the scope of the story is pretty narrow, but I got to kill people.
Check it out.
This week the guys catch up on their feedback. Some are emails, some are voice mails, and even Facebook makes an appearance. And, to cap things off, they finally get around to reviewing “The Adept” Enjoy!
Our next book to review:
Also, please go to Erotica a la Carte to vote on what Terry will be writing for Pip’s podcast.
Well, it’s my turn to serve up some erotica goodness for Philippa Ballantine’s Erotica a la Carte. The menu for my story is up and I’d like to encourage everyone to go vote for the story they’d like me to write. And, please, pass the link along to other people or places that might find it interesting. I’m very much looking forward to writing and producing this piece. Thanks Pip for the opportunity.

I hope everyone welcomes me in wishing PG Holyfield a happy birthday, and a successful year as a writer and podcaster. He’s more than earned it. Have a beer on me, buddy.
This week the guys are joined with writer and filmmaker, not to mention listener of the show, Morgan Elektra. Settle in as they all discuss the horror genre, hopefully finally giving it its due. Enjoy!

Hey, everyone. I just wanted to drop a note saying that there won’t be a new episode this week. Over the past several months we’ve worked hard to keep new content coming you way, either through our usual weekly shows or special content from conventions, and we will continue to make every effort to maintain a consistant flow into the future. But, this past week has been especially busy, and we – your hosts – decided that we needed to take a week off to refill our tanks. Call it a mental health break. We hope this doesn’t upset anyone. We look forward to seeing you next week!
