Episode 202 – The Dangerous Lives Of Characters

This week the Robots sit down to discuss the value and difficulty that can be found in making our characters’ lives a living hell, if they live at all. We hope you enjoy the conversation.

The lights are green, the trap is clean

Well, just as we’d hoped, work was done over the weekend, and everything is back to normal. All previous episodes should be back in your feed. If you happen to see the first ten episodes we ever did pop up as new downloads, please ignore that. I was doing some work that caused that. No worries. All is good.

Thank you for your patience, and we hope you have an amazing Thanksgiving (for our US listeners) weekend. If you live elsewhere, well, I still hope your weekend was awesome.

Update

Hey, folks, just wanted to put out a little update. It seems that the source of the problem has been discovered, and a fix is due to be implemented over the Thanksgiving weekend. Until then, PodHoster has made a temporary change to our feed that is limiting the number of episodes available to the last twenty shows (including episode 201). Once they’ve fixed the greater issue, our feed will be corrected so that all episodes are available once again. I’m sorry about any inconvenience this might have caused, and I appreciate your patience and understanding.

Technical Difficulties…

Everyone, I just wanted to let you know that we are currently suffering some technical difficulties regarding episode 201. I noticed this morning that the new episode wasn’t available, and I’ve been struggling to understand it and resolve it all day long. Trust me, hair has been lost, and I don’t have enough to let that happen. Right now I *think* I know what the problem is, and the technicians who can help say they are going to be working through the Thanksgiving holiday to do just that. So, right now I ask for your patience and understanding. If you want to listen to episode 201, and your downloader of choice isn’t getting it or showing it even exists, then you can listen to it or download it via the post just below this one. That link is fine and shouldn’t be a problem. As for iTunes and all the other downloaders, well… let’s just cross our fingers and hope this gets resolved soon.

I do want to warn you though that — should the techs not find the problem — we might have to make some changes here behind the scenes. Should that happen (and please, to all that is good and holy, please don’t make that happen), we will let you know.

Episode 201 – Theft of Swords Release Interview with Michael J. Sullivan

This week Terry and Eliyanna talk with fantasy author Michael J. Sullivan about the release of his first book from Orbit, Theft of Sword. Tune in and see what he’s been up to and what he might have planned.

A few links:

Since Eliyanna insisted, here is a link to Terry’s Erotica titles on Amazon. My more public identity is Lynn Mixon. Yes, I know. Talk about false advertising. I’m not nearly that hot in real life. Or that gender. ;)

Movember – A call for your support

Hey, everyone, Justin here. Today marks the start of Movember, and I’m hoping you’ll want to join me. What’s Movember, you ask? Well, I’ll let the site who organizes the event fill you in:

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

Once registered at www.movember.com, men start Movember 1st clean shaven. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts.

Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November. Through their actions and words they raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health.

At the end of the month, Mo Bros and Mo Sistas celebrate their gallantry and valor by either throwing their own Movember party or attending one of the infamous Gala Partés held around the world by Movember, for Movember.

And, to make sure that I do my part to help this worthy cause, I’ve shaved off my goatee, signed up with the site, and am now asking people to donate. If you’d care to lend your dollars to this effort, please go to http://mobro.co/JustinMacumber and make your donation. We can use every dollar you’d be so generous to give. Thank you in advance.

Oh, here’s what I look like tonight, just so you know I’m on the up and up:
