The Dead Robots’ Society is a Parsec Award Finalist!
I just saw that the DRS podcast has been made a finalist for the Parsec Awards. Our category is, of course, Best Writing-Related Podcast. Thanks go out to those who nominated us in the first place, and further thanks go out to the steering committee who placed us in the finalist column. That means a great deal.

Terry here. Allow me to add my congratulations to all the finalists and to wish them the very best of luck. Special congratulations to our very own P.G. Holyfield for his success with Murder at Avedon Hill in the selection process. The same goes to those who have been guests on our show at one time or another. To all, well done.
I’m also adding the complete list of finalists for the 2009 Parsec Awards to Justin’s announcement. Here it is.

Congratz Guys…they do that at DragonCon don’t they?
Hope I have the time to see the awards while I’m there…I’m a panelist on the MMORPG programming track myself….we’ll be there all 4 days for my Force of Arms game…:D
Thanks. Yes, it’s done at Dragon*Con. I don’t think I’ll be able to make it, sadly.
I’ll be there to accept the award… nah, I can’t pull of that sort of confidence. I’ll be there, at least. 🙂 I’ll also be on a couple of panels on the podcasting track. I’ll stop by and see what’s going on with Force of Arms!
I’m going to try and go. I wonder if there is a decent transit system in Atlanta since I’ll have to stay in a hotel far from the con.
Hehe P.G., Well we look forward to having you. As an indie developer team we’re happy to have everyone and anyone to get the word out. Hope to see ya there both of you.
As far as Atlanta’s transit system…it sucks for the most part…but its getting better and will be in full steam for Dcon. I live close to Atlanta so its bout a 30 min drive for me.
