Reopening Submissions for EXPLORERS Anthology

Everyone, last night we announced that we were reopening submissions for the EXPLORERS anthology we originally announced on Labor Day of last year. This anthology is something that we are passionate about, so we weren’t ready to drop it just because we didn’t get enough qualifiying submissions. So, we have reopened the submissions window until the end of June in the hopes of getting more stories that fit not only the guidelines we’ve laid out, but also the theme of the anthology. If you did not get an opportunity to submit to the anthology previously, please take this as your opportunity to do so now. If you did submit but were rejected, we encourage you to edit your work and try again. And, if you submitted a story but didn’t hear back from us, that most likely means we didn’t get a chance to read it before we realized that — even if we loved it and accepted it — there just weren’t enough to make a long enough book. We still have the stories, and we will respond to them all.

I hope this comes as good news to some of you. We look forward to seeing what you have to offer. Good luck, and thanks for wanting to be part of this endeavor.

Please see our FAQ for more information.

  1. Hey, thanks for the clarification 🙂 I was wondering as to its current status. It was a fun challenge to write a story to submit for the project. Good luck with it! 🙂

  2. *gasp* When I saw that submissions were reopened, I freaked out, thinking my submission had gone astray. I haven’t received a response yet, so it’s good to know that not all the December 31 submissions have been responded to. I won’t get worried yet. 😀 Looking forward to this antho regardless of acceptance or not.
