Can’t hear Paul! 🙁
I wanted to mention that scent/smell is also a great way to add detail to a location. In my novel, the main characters spend a short time in a seaside market in ancient Persia. I researched what spices and food would have been available for that location and time period, and got some great feedback from my readers about the description of the scene.
